Food drive and Turkey Trot results
You brought in 885 items for the food drive. Our student council members were able to put together 12 food baskets on Friday after school. Each family will receive 2-3 boxes of food.
With the turkey trot money, the student council was able to purchase a turkey, a pumpkin pie, rolls, canned beef or chicken, broth, and a gift card to the Royal Center Locker plant.
Thank you for showing love and gratitude toward others. You will help these families have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank you for all your donations and support!
The Young Gents Club and Girl's Leadership Club will be sponsoring a Salvation Army Drive after Thanksgiving break. Each grade has its own particular item that they can bring in. Please see attachment for what item your child or children can bring in. The last day to bring in donations will be December 13th. Thank you in advance for your donations and have a Happy Thanksgiving with your friends and family!
Our Turkey Trot goal this last week was to raise $500 to go towards food for PES families in need this holiday season. PES students not only surpassed this goal, they almost doubled it! For their efforts raising this money as superheroes of the community, tomorrow is Superhero Day. Please make sure costumes/outfits are school appropriate (no weapons or masks). Students may dress as real life superheroes such as police, military, firefighters, nurses, etc. as well as fictional superheroes. Great job students!! #PantherProud
We have a menu change for Monday, 11/21/22. Instead of mozzarella sticks, we will be serving Pizza Crunchers.
Just a reminder that tomorrow is both Hat Day for Girls Leadership Club for $1 and Popcorn Day for Student Council for $1.
Tomorrow is also the last day for Turkey Trot donations & the food drive. PES appreciates any and all donations!
