It's time for our first book fair of the school year! Check out the flyer for more details.

Pioneer students who completed the entire summer reading challenge were rewarded with a trip to the Mary Max theater to enjoy a movie Friday morning! To earn this reward they were required to read for at least 15 minutes a day for at least 45 days as well as complete all 25 activities on their "bingo boards" this summer. Each of these students also wrote their own mini-book to turn in when they returned to school in August! Awesome job Pioneer students!!!

K-2 students enjoyed listening to our high ability students in grades 3-6 read books by Kim Norman! Kim Norman is the children’s author that will be visiting our school in November! Pictured are some of the readers.

Friday is Popcorn Day at PES! $1 for a bag & all proceeds go toward Student Council events.🍿

The 1st annual PES Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament is happening soon! Proceeds will benefit our school wide PBIS - see the attached flyer for more details. Flyers & sign-up forms were sent home with students today.🪨📄✂️

Mrs. Herd came to be a guest reader for Mrs. Farrer's Kindergarten class today! Thank you to our business partners and United Way of Cass County who make this program possible!

Don't forget today, 9/15, is our first planned, Asynchronous Learning day. That means students will do their work at their own pace while teachers will be receiving valuable professional development at school. Please go to Canvas for your student's assignments.

Due to supply chain issues, there is a menu change for next Friday, September 22. Instead of French toast sticks, students will receive 2 Chocolate Emoji Waffles! Thank you for understanding.

Parents: If you have not received your guardian invite email from Apptegy Rooms, email Mrs. Roeske and she can send you the information you need to get started. In your email please include your name, student name, grade level.
