
In Mrs. Everett's 4th grade classroom, students recently completed an M & M lab. They created an hypothesis, timed observation with a hand lens, drew pics of the changes after 3 min intervals, and wrote conclusions. They were super excited about this experience.






Our Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament has come to an end! Yesterday was the championship round. Check out the attached pictures of the winners with their prizes!








Several high ability students researched author Kim Norman and put together a biographical PowerPoint.
They presented their PowerPoint Tuesday night at the school board meeting! The students did fantastic work and their presentation was well received!



Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Reyburn's classes are reading the novel, "Out of My Mind". Today they had a guest, Hunter Shaffer, along with his mother and SLP Paige Woodhouse. Did you know October is AAC Awareness Month? Please read the fliers for more information about AAC.

To kick off Fire Prevention Week, Kindergartners had a special visit today from the Royal Center Fire Department!



On Friday, 2nd graders went to the Royal Center Fire Station where they talked about fire safety plans, what firefighters do, & toured a fire truck. They also stopped at the Royal Center Library where retired teacher Mrs. Caudle read a couple books & talked all about the Library.





Important Info: This Wednesday, 10/11, is NOT a Late Start! School will begin at normal time. Students will be released early Wednesday & Thursday due to P/T Conferences. Elementary dismissal 2:15, PJSHS dismissal 2:30.


6th grade Math has been turned into a crime scene today. Students must use their skills dividing fractions to solve the crime!





On Friday, our PES 5th graders had a guest speaker come and do activities with them about hygiene! Thank you Julianna Patty!!




A reminder that the Logansport Rotary Club will be selling pork chop sandwiches for $5 at tonight's varsity volleyball game starting at 5:30 PM. All proceeds go to fund gifts for Pioneer and Lewis Cass students at the annual Rotary Christmas Party. See attached flier.
