Dear Parents and Guardians,
It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the new principal of Pioneer Jr. Sr. High School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such a rich tradition of education! I am starting my 20th year in education with 5 years of experience as an administrator and 15 as a math teacher. I am eager to bring my skills as an educational leader to Pioneer Jr. Sr. High School and work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success.
Along with the teachers and staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established by building strong relationships with parents, students, teachers, and community partners. We will focus on character education, academic standards, the use of data to drive instruction, and to provide consistent implementation of the curriculum in a rigorous manner so that we can continue to increase all of the students' achievement.
All of us at PJSHS are ready and look forward to beginning the 2019-2020 school year. This year is going to be amazing as we continue to provide academic experiences for our students that are rigorous, relevant, and help them build relationships while making real-world connections. As your principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors are excited to be here whether you are a student, a parent, a teacher, or a a community member. This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, exciting, and nurturing environment. During this school year, I encourage you to take an active role in your child’s learning. Parent involvement plays a critical role as we partner together for your student’s success. Ways to support and increase your student’s academic success include:

Communicate with your student’s teachers
Check your parent Harmony Account to stay informed of student’s progress
Review the school day with your student
