Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! It is fun to see students back in the hallways and classrooms. The start of the school year is always exciting with new faces, new experiences, new friends, and new learning. There are several changes to the facilities at PJSHS that will enhance our students’ learning experience. If you get a chance check out Pioneer’s Facebook and Twitter accounts for some pictures of before and after. The remodeled classrooms, main gym renovation, and hallway painting have transformed our building into a warm and inviting environment where our students can learn. We have a few items to finish up, but I hope they are completed within a few weeks. Thank you in advance for your patience, understanding, and flexibility as we finish up.
Along with the changes to the physical building, Pioneer has changed the date and time of the 2024 Graduation Ceremony. We are moving the ceremony to Friday, May 24th at 7:30pm. Please mark this change on your calendars so that you can make arrangements to come and celebrate with our Seniors as they close one chapter in their lives and open a new one.
Congratulations to Pioneer who was ranked in the top 25% of all Indiana schools by U.S. News and World Report for the 4th year in a row. This is an outstanding achievement for the staff who work diligently to provide the best education for our students as well as go above and beyond to ensure that each student's needs are met. This is just another step to accomplish our mission at Pioneer Regional School Corporation which is to produce high-performing student results by focusing on: Safe and Nurturing Learning Environment, Literacy, Mastery of Academic Standards, Service Learning, College, Career, and Life Readiness, and Extracurricular Excellence.
