Next Wednesday, May 15, PES will be serving Arroz con Pollo for the first time! We hope your students will be excited to try it!


Some of our 4th & 5th grade classes have been participating in a STEM virtual learning activity this week in partnership with Purdue & WVEC. They made cranes and pointillism robots.










Just a reminder that tomorrow is our last Popcorn Day of the school year -- sponsored by Community State Bank! 🍿


You are invited to our end of year awards program. In Kindergarten and 6th grade, every student will receive a diploma. The office will be notifying the parents/guardians of students receiving special awards in all grades. Not every student will get an award.

Update: the Talent Show at PES has been moved to Thursday, May 16!


Next Wednesday, May 8th, PES will be testing out a new menu item: Orange Chicken and Fried Rice. Please encourage your student(s) to give it a try! If it goes well, we may add it to our menu options next year.

Our second graders enjoyed a presentation today from some of Cass County Sheriff's Department K9 handlers. They learned about what the K9s are trained to do, how they help keep our community safe, & got to see them in action! Special thanks to our SRO, Officer Swartzell for organizing this awesome experience!




Kindergarten round up was last night & we had quite a few scholars commit to being a Pioneer Panther! 🖤💛




We had some special visitors yesterday morning! Some actors from the PJSHS upcoming musical "The Wizard of Oz" greeted students as they arrived. Be sure to check out the musical this weekend – 4/19 @ 7pm, 4/20 @ 7pm, or 4/21 @ 2:30pm in the HS Auditorium. 🎟️ Tickets are $10 for adults & $8 for students.
